The coming winter's said to be the coldest / and legend has it six planets align this night on the solstice / now it's natural phenomena of biblical proportion / that lesser men would kill for the power to go to war with / that's why when I step up to the pulpit / I'm backed by the choir that sings hellfire down on the cultists / to lead an exodus on a scale never before seen / to wipe slates clean and slice marionette strings / Cause man plans, God laughs, so man falls back, the backup plan: outhoard the rest of the pack / with jewel-encrusted golden goblets in the vault, lethal injection in the veins / larceny and oxycontin on the brain / medicine for the debit card and franklins for the pain / supersize that orange bottle cause that's how he make it rain / no name, no gold chain / no change in his food chain place / for every paygrade raise / or lane change, but he's honored to be rhetorical fodder when the statement's made, dropping his namesake / the mainstage feautures the middlemen but the horse's mouth is bridled / so auction off your worship and watch them fight for the title / until every anecdote or buzzfeed article's a bible / who needs God or carnal sins when every object's an idol / we'll never know if the forbidden apple was laced / but ain't no aphrodisiac like the impending end of the human race We kill the cancer, inciting the noise Of our fellow peers, the first to see How we can rejoice Wanna see a real glitch in the matrix? / Watch a monument erected in the name of blood and entertainment / every seat in the stadium was taken, every pew in every church / grab the popcorn, we want the bad news first / You had me at death / so wire me a travesty with all the pathos of the latest 100,000 tragedies / present it as a spectator sport for my scatter-brained imaginings / and kill me with the maddening suspense / I said let's get it fucking happening / no rest as long as there's still something left to refer to in present tense / just place your cash bets on this crash test / dummy and see if he reaches martyrdom before they bash heads / and as he takes his last breath / all I can think is who I can vote for to ensure it happens again / Cause there's a sickly violent zen, a contentment in a sense / to see your every senseless act sensibly justified by talking heads / as if the current state of affairs was definitive / when every day the word terrorist got a new synonym / but only in instances of alien invaders / save us Mr. Doctor Professor Colonel Lieutenant Major / Cause our freedom's why they hate us, so do us all a favor / free them and leave a brand new enslavement reinstated / we'll never know if Sodom and Gomorrah deserved it / but what we can do is follow suit and burn it We kill the cancer, inciting the noise Of our fellow peers, the first to see How we can rejoice

Marie 06:26
She's keeping me grounded Still, I try To keep my eyes ahead Don't look back I want to drown it out But he's right behind me In my room, alone again Still, I try To recall what she taught me Take control I want to drown it out But I feel him there beside me Aah... Only when alone, I lose it Why, when alone, Do I lose it? Aah...

Left alone in my youngest days An old man meant to keep me safe But one day he woke me up instead And so I asked him, what do you want from me? But no response, sir, what do you want from me? Oh he was ruthless, what do you want from me, do you want from me, do you want? The walls are white, I've been stuck inside All my life They've got the devil's eyes, and I don't know why But it rhymes Left alone at my dumbest age A girl who'd never learned restraint Next thing I knew, she'd caught me in her head And so I asked her, what do you want from me? But no boundaries, bitch, what do you want from me? Oh she was reckless, what do you want from me, do you want from me, do you want? The walls are white, I've been stuck inside All my life There's no place left to hide, they've both got devil's eyes 'Cause it rhymes Ooh... The years are passing me by, the fear is kicking in I've never been like the rest, who all just wanted skin See, I'm afraid of the bed, twice was I forced in it And when you see me again, walls will be caving in One day I recall the eyes, after a decade A battered mind in the making just to wear away Too sensitive to make sense of simple child's play World shaken at three-years-old, tell me what's left to gain But there's sight of the beloved, it has yet to fade And I'm not letting it go, it's here I want to stay I've never known warmth like this, feels like I might erupt But if it's here I'll remain, then I won't give it up

Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ignorance abound here Call us misguided Say it's for my own good The give me a warning Nature's a heresy Life choices just ain't healthy Say it's for my own good Then give me a warning Today's our rebirth, so find your worth (x3) This is our rebirth, so find your worth Empathy, apathy It's the same shit to me I'm trying to do what's right here 'Cause I think you need saving Ignorance abound here Call us misguided Say it's for my own good Then give me a warning Today's our rebirth, so find your worth (x3) This is our rebirth, so find your worth I can't be quiet When I'm not speaking I can't be silent If I'm not speaking

Love 05:47
Thought I'd fade Stood on the edge But there's a light She's mine, she guides me Now I stand And when I fall, I can walk again Remember this, You've not yet lost your innocence Came to life And I can see There's hope again She's lead me here Now I stand And when I fall, I can walk again Remember this, You've not yet lost your innocence

Played fine, learned to rise Don't mind me, just thrive I'm not sure whether to Wither or explode Revived with newfound spine To ascend and strive I'm not sure whether to Wither or explode

about

This is the last show of the year. We played a set consisting of 3 mellower jams followed by 3 heavy tracks (and the crowd wanted an encore.. so we figured something out) We'll be going on a hiatus to record our first album, which will be out early next year. :)
